Bellewaerde

Bellewaerde is a Belgian amusement park located in Ypres, a 40-minute drive north of Lille.

Bellewaerde is one of the few amusement parks to have two entrances. The Lion entrance next to the Bellewaerde Aquapark and the Mexico entrance that leads to the area of the same name.

Mexico

El Volador, a Topple Tower by Huss.

Bellewaerde has completely renovated this entrance, which is much more majestic and allows for very nice photos. In this area you will find the famous Boomerang roller coaster, the first to have been opened in the world, Huracan, the indoor and outdoor roller coaster that replaced Los Piratas, El Volador, one of the last Topple Tower models still in service, the El Toro spinning ride, as well as a 4D cinema. 

Far West

River Splash, Bellewaerde's flume opened in 1980.

In this area you will find the River Splash flume, the very old Coccinelle roller coaster built in 1981 by Zierer, as well as the European bison enclosure.

Jungle

Jungle Mission and its many water effects.

Here you will find the unique Jungle Mission attraction, a Tow Boat Ride but also many animals such as Pelicans, squirrel monkeys but also parrots, capybaras and flamingos during your boat trip. 

Savannah

You can also observe the giraffes from a belvedere.

The savannah only offers animals with the encounter of zebras, Rothschild's giraffes, and Lemur Island. Bellewaerde's last elephant has left to join other members of its species in another zoo in the Netherlands, the vacant enclosure will be used to enlarge the zebra and giraffe enclosure.

Kidspark

One of the many attractions in the area reserved for children.

This is the special area for children, located to the right of the Lion entrance. With its many attractions suitable for children such as a small ferris wheel, a mini drop tower, a small train, a playground, carousels, children will really have something to occupy them. But older children are not forgotten with a teacup ride, a flying chair ride and Houdini's magic house.

India

In this area, you will find a superb very wet buoy course, the Bengal Rapid River, as well as a safari train ride among tigers and lions. You will also discover the conservation area for Amur leopards.

Canada

The very wet Niagara water ride!

This is THE thrill zone of the park with the Screaming Eagle propulsion tower, the Niagara shoot the chute, the pirate ship, the Big Chute and its water slide, the Peter Pan spinning ride, the Alpine Coaster Dawson Duel and its double course at the top of the trees and finally, the novelty of 2020, the Wakala family roller coaster.

The Bellewaerde Aquapark

It opened in July 2019 and is located next to the Lion entrance of Bellewaerde. Costing 17 million euros, it offers on a surface of 3000m² 7 slides, a Junior Explorer play area taking place in a galleon, a play area for the little ones, Bambino Beach, a Lazy River, a climbing wall and two saunas.
