Efteling
This park is located in the Netherlands and is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world.
Attractions for the little ones
The Fairytale Forest is a place where you can find small scenes representing the fairy tales of our childhood with well-known stories like Snow White and other more local stories, and therefore less known in France. Animatronics bring life to the elements. For some tales, mini shows are launched regularly. The walk is very pleasant and may be punctuated by storytelling or encounters with characters.
The park offers a very good selection of attractions for the whole family with carousels, cups, etc. accessible to all as well as several dark rides such as Carnaval Festival or the scenic route Symbolica.
Thrill Rides
For roller coaster enthusiasts, this park offers 5 (and soon a fifth, more family-friendly). We really like Baron 1898, a dive coaster whose theming is very successful, as well as Joris, a wooden roller coaster in duelling format that is quite intense. For more inversions, Python will turn you upside down 4 times. The Flying Dutchman attraction is superb with its Pirates of the Caribbean-style theming, but with a roller coaster section that ends in a final splash. Finally, the park offers an indoor roller coaster Vogel Rock which was the first to incorporate audio on board the trains (a bit dated but a good introduction for younger children who want to ride their first roller coaster).
