Opened in May 2017 at Universal Orlando Resort, Volcano Bay is a next-generation water theme park that transports you to a tropical island dominated by the imposing Krakatau volcano, towering 200 feet (61 meters). This park spans 53 acres (21 hectares) of lush vegetation and colorful scenery, offering complete immersion in an exotic world.

One of Volcano Bay's major features is its TapuTapu interactive system. This revolutionary electronic wristband allows you to:

• Virtually hold your place in line for attractions, letting you enjoy other park activities, such as the wave pool, relaxation areas, or the lazy river.
• Receive a vibrating notification when your turn is approaching, saving you from long waits.
• Make purchases and open your locker quickly and easily.

This system, similar to Disney World's Magic Bands, optimizes your experience and allows you to fully enjoy every moment.

• Krakatau Aqua Coaster: A must-do! This unique slide propels boats using linear induction motors, offering guaranteed thrills.
• Ko'okiri Body Plunge: Reserved for the bravest! A near-vertical drop from the summit of the volcano through a trapdoor that opens beneath your feet. Guaranteed adrenaline!
