Villages Nature Paris
Villages Nature Paris is an ecotourism holiday village developed by Pierre & Vacances (Center Parcs) and Disney. It is located 6km from the Disney parks and encircles the Davy Crockett ranch.
The complex was inaugurated in autumn 2017 after almost 3 years of work to make it the largest tourism project in Europe. This first phase of work resulted in 1730 accommodations (1210 cottages and 520 apartments) distributed across 3 thematic ranges with numerous activities including the famous Aqualagon, a 9000 m² water park and its 2500 m² outdoor lagoon open all year round with water at 30 degrees.
The 3 accommodation ranges offered are:
- VIP Cottage: these are high-end cottages and apartments with facilities equivalent to a 4-star rating
- Country Premium: this is the mid-range equivalent to 3 stars
- Clan Comfort: the entry-level equivalent to 2 stars
The complex is entirely heated by geothermal energy with a farm located on the complex allowing the pool water to be kept at 30 degrees all year round, providing heat to the accommodations and even heating the Newport Bay Club hotel and the Disney Studios, impressive!
In terms of activities, you will have plenty to keep you busy with paid options and free ones.
The Aqualagon is included in your stay and allows you to enjoy one of the largest water parks in Europe. The selection of slides is good and the highlight is truly its outdoor area open all year round. You will also find a wave pool there as well as areas reserved for the little ones to have fun in the water.
For walks, the resort is very pleasant. Between the extraordinary gardens (on the 4 elements), the lake tour, the forest of legends, you will have plenty to stretch your legs or borrow a bike to discover everything. There are lots of areas for children with swings, slides, etc. to keep them busy.
We were impressed by the imposing farm. The place is also intended to be educational and thinks of children who don't necessarily know the countryside by bringing them a version of the farm. Many animals live year-round on this farm, which the resort employees take great care of. With cows, horses, goats, chickens, and so on, you can spend a few hours in this area. A small stage also allows you to attend shows, and a huge playground called Lait's Play keeps the youngest occupied even in bad weather.
It is next to this small farm that you will also find workshops allowing you to make your own bread or chocolate. You can also discover how to make your own vegetable garden even in the city and see how honey is harvested and why not leave with your jar of local honey.
Numerous shops and restaurants are present in the resort so you can cook for yourself or be served.
